Here at Sseko, one of our favorite ways to spread the Sseko love is through what we refer to as House Parties. We love giving YOU the opportunity to be the face and voice of Sseko in your own communities and homes. We love to see people opening their homes to spread the Sseko love to the people around them. The classic House Party is a favorite. However, “House Parties” are not limited to, well, houses. Sseko events are all unique to their own communities and all look a little different. We believe that you know and understand your own communities better than we do, so here is a chance to exercise that creative energy! Here are a couple of examples:

-Team up with a local musician to host a concert. Set up a merch table to sell Ssekos and share our vision.

-Set up a booth at a local fair/festival or an existing event at your church/school/campus etc.

-Team up with a campus organization to host an event. There are tons of different groups that are excited about Sseko’s mission and would love to get involved.

-Fashion Shows: Interested or involved in your local fashion community? Get Sseko involved! Host a fashion show with other cause-oriented or local fashionistas.

-Education: Host an advocacy event highlighting one of Sseko’s core cares:

        *Socially responsible consumerism.

        *The role/importance of educating and investing in women in developing economies.

        *Using entrepreneurship and business as a means to economic and social development

        *Raising awareness for human rights issue and violations.
